摘要 The present invention provides a float glass production device capable of preventing a glass ribbon from swaying in the widthwise direction in a downstream side of a forming area. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the float glass production device includes a float bath having a bottom for storing molten metal, wherein the float bath includes a plurality of top rolls for supporting the glass ribbon by applying pressure on an end portion of the widthwise direction of the glass ribbon from above the end portion and a plurality of heaters installed in an upper portion of the bottom. When the float bath is viewed from above, an area where the heaters are arranged has a plurality of sections separated in the moving direction and the widthwise direction, and a separating line between the sections adjacent to each other in the widthwise direction, in an area where a viscosity of the glass ribbon is 10^(5.7) dPa·s or more and 10^(7.5) dPa·s or less, includes an inner separating line positioned at a position inner than the top roll in the widthwise direction. In addition, a distance between the inner separating line and a main body of the top roll is 100 mm or more and 350 mm or less.
