PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea beverage including sodium but still satisfying palatability.SOLUTION: The tea beverage contains tannin, sodium and a chloride ion and when (A) is a sodium concentration (mg/100 ml), (B) is a tannin concentration (mg/100 ml) and (C) is a chloride ion concentration (mg/100 ml), (A) is not less than 40 to not more than 80 and a ratio (A/B) of (B) to (A) is 1.7 or more and (C) is 40 or less.
