The present invention relates to a grinder and a semiconductor strip grinder. The grinder comprises: a driving motor; a grindstone for grinding a semiconductor strip by a rotation of the driving motor; and a housing unit for protecting the grindstone. The housing unit has a composition of forming one side to be opened by hinge rotating when replacing the grindstone so as to reduce a molding layer formed in an upper part of a unit substrate of the semiconductor strip, thereby having a thin overall thickness of the semiconductor strip.
