The invention relates to an energy management method implemented to enable the operation of an auxiliary power unit at a load characterized by fast transitory regimes. The auxiliary power unit is based on an assembly of PEM-type fuel cells and an energy storage system with an assembly of ultracapacitors. According to the invention, the method includes the stages of restraining the dynamics of the power generated by the fuel cell assembly of the auxiliary power unit, by dividing the range of power generated into sub-ranges, while establishing the operation point for each sub-range in the point of maximum local efficiency and fixing the limits of the loading condition of the utracapacitor assembly between the values 20% and 100%, so as to ensure a reserve of stored energy in any moment. |
