PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric actuator, of which overload or lock state can be detected at lower cost than an encoder without requiring increase in complexity and size.SOLUTION: A motor 1 and an output shaft 2 are connected together with a plurality of gears 3, and a gear sensor 5 is provided to a spur gear 3a of the output shaft 2 of a shutoff valve with a valve body 4 at the end of the output shaft 2 so that the gear sensor is opposed to the tooth tip. Further, the overload or the lock state is detected by counting the rotations of the spur gear 3a with the gear sensor 5 so that the detection costs less than when an encoder is provided and increase in complexity and size is not involved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
