A mounting assembly is provided for coupling a monitoring device to a valve assembly for relieving vacuum and over pressure conditions in a storage container. The valve assembly includes a body (104) including a first port (114) adapted to be in fluid communication with the storage container and a first valve seat (132) disposed in the body (104), and a first control assembly (124) including a first valve stem (140) and a first closure element (136) coupled to the first valve stem (140), the first closure member being movable relative to the first valve seat (132) in response to changes in pressure in the container. The mounting assembly includes a mounting bracket adapted to be coupled to a portion of the body and a mounting tube configured to be slidably coupled to the mounting bracket. The mounting tube is adapted to receive the monitoring device, which is configured to obtain data indicative of the operation of the valve assembly.
