PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device which can be made more compact, without inhibiting weight reduction.SOLUTION: An antenna element 60 has a square body 61 arranged to face an antenna ground 70, and coupling parts 62a-62d coupled, respectively, to four sides of the body 61 so as to face the antenna ground 70. When the edge of one side of the body 61 excepting the coupling position with the coupling parts 62a-62d is a first edge E1, and the edge excepting the coupling position with the body 61, out of the outer edge of the coupling parts 62a-62d is a second edge E2, the first and second edges are formed, respectively, so that the sum of the length L1 of the first edge E1, and the length L2a+2×L2b of the second edge E2 will be equal to 1/2 of the wavelength λ of the radio wave used.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
