The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for amplifying single-stranded DNA using microbeads. The apparatus for amplifying single-stranded DNA facilitates manufacturing polyacrylamide microbeads based on a copolymer, manufacturing single-stranded DNA by using the polyacrylamide microbeads, and amplifying and recovering the same. To this end, the apparatus for amplifying single-stranded DNA using microbeads comprises: a microbead manufacturing tool which receives oil containing tetramethylethylenediamine (TEMED) to manufacture the polyacrylamide microbeads in which antisense oligonucleotides are exposed; and a single-stranded DNA manufacturing tool which receives the microbeads manufactured by the microbead manufacturing tool to mix template strand 1 with sense primer, and amplifies the DNA from a mixed solution by using polymerase chain reaction to recover the DNA. Accordingly, the apparatus for amplifying single-stranded DNA using microbeads facilitates manufacturing single-stranded DNA by using the microbeads manufactured in a microfluidic chip, thereby utilizing the manufactured single- stranded DNA in various fields such as DNA SELEX, a detection sensor, a molecular therapy method, confirmation of a biomarker, ligand binding, bioimaging, a biosensor, etc. |
