PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to both of expansion performance and OOP performance of an airbag for protecting at least from a head to a chest part of a passenger.SOLUTION: A vehicular far side airbag device 10 is configured such that a high capacity FS airbag 32 for protecting at least from a head H to a chest part C of a passenger P is partitioned to a main chamber 36 and a cleavage chamber 38 by a sewing partition part 34 having communication ports 46 and 48. The cleavage chamber 38 is disposed on a rear and lower side of the main chamber 36, stores an inflator 40, inflates and expands in an early stage with high pressure relative to the main chamber 36, and at least a lower end side portion thereof projects a vehicle front side relative to a burst line part 31 of a seat back 14. Therefore, at least the lower end side of the burst line part 31 can cleave in an early stage, so that the main chamber 36 can be inflated and expanded form a lower side to an upper side stably, and the main chamber 36 with low pressure interferes to a passenger on a non-proper position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
