The present invention relates to an electrode assembly comprising a SRS separation membrane and, more particularly, to an electrode assembly to which a separation membrane is interposed between a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The separation membrane has a separation membrane overhang extended to both sides of the width of the positive electrode and the negative electrode with respect to the width direction. A coating layer having a thickness greater than the thickness of the separation membrane is formed on one side or both sides of the separation membrane overhang to prevent shrinkage of the separation membrane.
