The present invention relates to a pouch-type secondary batter, and more specifically, to a pouch-type secondary battery providing excellent insulation and sealing reliability by comprising: an electrode assembly bonded with an electrode tab; a pouch to accommodate the electrode assembly to expose a part of the electrode tab to the outside; and an insulation tape to surround a part of the electrode tab where the electrode tab and pouch cross, wherein the insulation tape includes a pouch outer side bonding unit protruding toward the pouch from a part not covered with the pouch and the pouch outer side bonding unit is bonded to the outer surface of the pouch.
