PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction device, an automatic transaction system, and a password input method for making it possible to input a password hardly forgettable by a user and hardly guessable by others.SOLUTION: The touch panel possessed by the automatic transaction device includes: an initial screen for displaying a category corresponding to each digit of a code number and displaying a choice for each category, making the choice in category selectable; a selection screen for displaying a choice for each of the selected categories and, when one choice is selected, displaying a choice for a category corresponding to the next digit; and a confirmation screen for requesting, when choices for categories corresponding to all digits of the code number are selected, the confirmation of a combination of choices to be selected and registered. This makes it possible to input a password hardly forgettable by a user and hardly guessable by others. Furthermore, it is possible to expect, with the preferences of the user taken into consideration, that the user's inclination for the alteration of the password will be promoted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
