PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration suppression device for structure that can be mounted in compact and can improve its workability.SOLUTION: In this vibration suppression device 1, a rod 3 connected to one of first and second portions is partially and movably stored in an axial direction in a cylindrical main body part 2 connected to the other one of the first and second portions in a system including a structure; and flanges 3a, 3b integral with the rod 3, first pulleys 5L, 5R attached to the main body part 2, second pulleys 6L, 6R attached to the flanges 3a, 3b, and cables 7L, 7R connected at one end to the flanges 3a, 3b and wound around both pulleys 5L, 6L, 5R, 6R are stored in the main body part 2. A relative displacement between the first and second portions transmitted through the main body part 2, rod 3 and cables 7L, 7R by a transmittance mechanism 4 stored in the main body part 2 and having the other ends of the cables 7L, 7R connected thereto is transmitted to an inertia element HF.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
