PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle battery in which the output performance of a battery cell at low temperature can be enhanced without inducing increase of the manufacturing cost while simplification of the structure is secured.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle battery has a battery module 3 having plural battery cells 12 arranged in a predetermined state, and a cell cover 11 in which the plural battery cells are arranged, a part of the internal space of the cell cover being formed as a chamber 21 into which cooling air is fed, a housing case 2 in which the battery module is mounted, an air-intake duct 36 for feeding cooling air into the battery module, and an exhaust duct 39 for exhausting the cooling air fed into the battery module. A heater 22 for heating the plural battery cells is disposed in the chamber, and a heat sink 25 secured to the heater is disposed in the chamber so as to confront the battery cells.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
