PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system configured to reduce the influence on vehicle control, while reducing cost, an in-vehicle device, a communication device, and a computer program.SOLUTION: A communication system includes: a plurality of in-vehicle devices 2, 3 connected to a communication line 4 and including in-vehicle communication sections 24, 32 communicating each other via the communication line 4, and storage sections 22, 31; and a communication device for transmitting information to the in-vehicle devices 2, 3. A repeating device (specific in-vehicle device) 2 in the communication system includes: a radio receiving section 23 which receives, by radio, information transmitted by the communication device; a free space acquisition section which acquires free space in the storage section 31 of an ECU (another in-vehicle device) 3; and a transmission control section which causes the in-vehicle communication section 24 to transmit received information to the ECU (another in-vehicle device) 3 when the radio receiving section 23 receives information of an amount corresponding to the free space acquired in the free space acquisition section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
