PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extend a slave unit at low cost and easily in comparison with the case of master unit extension or the like, while reducing version-up such as influences upon an existent system as further as possible.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an extension method for a slave unit in a remote management system formed from a center device, a master unit 10 and a plurality of slave units 20 connected to the master unit 10 via a plurality of stages of layers where the number of stages is limited by specific small power radio. A relay terminal (slave 0) that becomes a stage 0 in the layers is connected to the master unit 10, and a slave unit 2-2 on the second stage in the existent remote management system is connected to the relay terminal. Next, the stage of the slave unit 2-2 connected to the relay terminal is changed into a first stage for changing the slave unit (2-2→slave 1) and the slave unit (slave 3→slave 2). The limitation in the number of stages is mitigated by one, such that a novel slave unit (slave 3) can be extended.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
