PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the prediction accuracy of a processing time required at a controlled device and thereby to reduce the number of times of communication between a controlling device and the controlled device.SOLUTION: A controlling device 100 includes: a serial communication unit 102 for communicating data with a controlled device 105; a time measuring unit 103 for measuring a communication time with the controlled device 105; a storage unit 104 that has stored a prediction value T0e obtained by predicting a time from when a control command is transmitted to the controlled device 105 to when the controlled device 105 finishes the processing of the control command; and a control unit 101 for controlling the serial communication unit 102 and the time measuring unit 103. The control unit 101 corrects the prediction value T0e on the basis of a total communication time T0 from when a control command is transmitted to the controlled device 105 to when receiving a response signal giving notice of a processing result for the control command by the controlled device 105 measured by the time measuring unit 103, and the prediction value T0e predicted for the control command stored in the storage unit 104 (S402-S406).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
