The present invention is an electric circuit breaker device having a plastic housing with a cylindrical space that extends from a first end to a second end of the housing and has, disposed therein from the first end side of the housing in the axial direction in the following order, an igniter, a plastic projectile, and a conductor piece for forming a portion of an electric circuit, with an insulation space for receiving a cutoff part of the conductor piece being formed between the second end of the housing and the conductor piece. The conductor piece is a plate piece comprising connection parts disposed on both sides thereof and a cutoff part disposed in the middle, the surface of the cutoff part is disposed orthogonal to the axial direction of the housing, the projectile is disposed to face the surface of the cutoff part of the conductor piece in the axial direction of the housing, and a metal cylinder for reinforcing the housing is disposed between the projectile and the inner wall surface of the housing. |
