The present invention relates to a battery management system which can monitor states of a plurality of batteries connected in series. The battery management system comprises: a first temperature detection unit to measure a temperature of a first battery; a second temperature detection unit to measure a temperature of a second battery connected to the first battery in series; a shunt registor connected between the first battery and the second battery; a current interface unit to measure a voltage of the shunt registor; a current detection unit to use a resistance value of the shunt registor and a voltage value measured by the current interface unit to calculate an input/output current of the first battery and the second battery; and a voltage detection unit to measure a voltage of the first battery and the second battery. |
