The invention relates to the field of medicine and chemical-pharmaceutical industry, in particular to transdermal medications for the treatment of diseases of joints and soft tissues, using non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs as active ingredients. Disclosed is the external medication for the treatment of diseases of joints and soft tissues, which contains meloxicam and pharmaceutically acceptable base. Pharmaceutically acceptable base is a mixture of water, trometamol and N-methylpyrrolidone, with meloxicam being present in the form of true solution with base components. The invention makes it possible to extend the range of applied medications and obtain external medication for the treatment of diseases of joints and soft tissues, which provides the high anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity, faster development of said effects, high stability and long shelf-life.
