PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an emergency brake from frequently operating or erroneously operating while increasing the sensitivity of detection of an obstacle.SOLUTION: In a collision prevention device 100, a determination part 101 determines whether or not a passenger of a traveling body is surprised on the basis of one or both of the expression and utterance of the passenger. An obstacle detection part 102 detects an object whose certainty is not less than a reference value from among photographed images in the periphery of the traveling body as an obstacle. The obstacle detection part 102 more decreases the reference value of certainty, and more increases the sensitivity of detection of the obstacle when it is determined that the passenger is surprised by the determination part 101 than when it is not determined that the passenger is surprised. An estimation part 103 estimates the insecurity of collision between the obstacle detected by the obstacle detection part 102 and the traveling body. A notification part 104 notifies the passenger of the insecurity of collision when it is estimated that the insecurity of collision between the traveling body and the obstacle is not less than a predetermined value by the estimation part 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
