PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and inexpensive laser light source device capable of efficiently condensing laser beams from a plurality of laser light sources to achieve high output, and to provide a video display device.SOLUTION: A plurality of laser light source units 61, 62, 63, 64 are arranged on the same plane, and are arranged in a state where adjacent laser light source units are adjacent to each other in series so that directions of long axes of elliptical shapes presented by the sections of the laser beams reflected in a second direction are coincide with each other. Mirrors 21, 22, 23, 24 are configured such that the rotation angles with respect to optical axes of laser beams emitted from laser light sources 11, 12, 13, 14 can be set so that the direction of a long axis of the elliptical shape presented by the section of the laser beam reflected in the second direction forms a predetermined angle with the second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
