PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a situation in which an electrode cannot be placed on a flange portion of a cap as intended due to manufacturing error of the cap.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a conductive aspherical-lensed cap 10 to be fixed on a mounting circuit board 1 is disclosed. The cap 10 includes a main body portion 11 and a flange portion 12 extending in a direction away from the main body portion 11 from a base end which is continuous with the main body portion 11. The flange portion 12 is tabular, has a flat upper surface 12a, and is provided with a recess formed in the vicinity of a boundary between the upper surface 12a of the flange portion and an outer peripheral surface of the main body part 11. The manufacturing method includes a machining process for integrally producing the main body portion 11 and the flange portion 12 by processing a base material, which is a stainless steel, using machining blades, and a step for mounting an aspherical lens 20 on the cap 10. |
