PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably allow operation input by an operation switch even when there is no detection input of a human detection sensor in an electric rice cooker which controls an operation function of the operation switch, depending on detection input or no detection input of the human detection sensor.SOLUTION: In an electric rice cooker which is provided with control means controlling rice cooking or a heat retaining state, an operation unit performing operation setting of control input to the control means in a conductive state, and a human detection sensor that detects whether or not there is an operator operating the operation unit, controls the operation unit into a conductive state in which setting of the control input is possible when the operator is present, and controls the operation unit into a non-conductive state in which setting of the control input is impossible when the operator is not present, apart from the human detection sensor, an operation detection sensor which detects that the operator is trying to operate the operation unit is provided. When the operator is trying to operate the operation unit, the operation unit is recovered from the non-conductive state in which setting of the control input is impossible to the conductive state in which setting of the control input is possible.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
