PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of fabricating an exhaust turbine supercharger, and an exhaust turbine supercharger, capable of suitably preventing efficiency of compression of the supercharger from being deteriorated due to fixation of a seal member to a housing body with a restraint member.SOLUTION: An exhaust turbine supercharger includes: a housing body (scroll piece 10, a shroud piece 20 and a radial piece 30) constituting a compressor housing; and a seal member 50 which is formed with a material having higher free-machinability than that of a material of the housing body and has a shroud surface S opposite to an impeller 4. In a method of fabricating the exhaust turbine supercharger, the seal member 50 is fixed to the shroud piece 20 with a pin 60, thereafter, the pin 60 is machined together with the seal member 50 and, thereby, the shroud surface S is formed. |
