The present invention relates to a heterogeneous catalyst for preparing 3-hydroxypropionic acid (3-HPA) from allyl alcohol, and a preparation method of 3-HPA from allyl alcohol using the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for preparing 3-HPA from allyl alcohol with a high yield through a liquid phase reaction in presence of a heterogeneous catalyst which is formed by supporting gold in a support body.
