PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector terminal that can prevent a contact portion from being shaped by the tip of an inserted board, and prevent increase of the contact resistance at the contact portion by stabilizing the contact between the contact portion and the terminal portion of the board to thereby stabilize the electrical connection.SOLUTION: A connector terminal 2 provided to a connector 1 in which a board 3 having a terminal portion 3A on the end portion surface of the board 3 is inserted, has a slope portion 25 which is inclined to the board 3 at the front side in the insertion direction of the board 3 and pressed against the board 3 to elastically swag, a contact portion 26 which is provided to the slope portion 25 and contacts the terminal portion 3A of the board 3, and a projection portion 27 which is provided to contact the board 3 prior to the contact portion 26 when the board 3 is inserted into the slope portion 25, contacts the end edge portion 3B of the board 3 by insertion of the board 3 to run on the terminal portion 3A of the board 3, and is kept away from the terminal portion 3A of the board 3 by continuing further insertion of the board so that the contact portion 26 is brought into contact with the terminal portion 3A of the board 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
