The present invention relates to a block copolymer and uses thereof. Provided in the present invention are: a block copolymer having excellent self-assembling properties, which can be effectively used for various purposes; and uses thereof. The block copolymer comprises a first block, and a second block having a chemical structure different from the first block. The azimuth angle in -90 to -70 degrees of a diffraction pattern of a scattering vector in the range of 12 nm^-1 to 16 nm^-1 of a GIWAXS spectrum and a peak with the half width in the range of 5 to 70 degrees are observed in the first block.
