A PRODUCT RANKING SYSTEM Methods, systems, and apparatus are described herein that includes measuring two salient semantically orthogonal, subjective attributes of an item, being item quality and item aesthetics, deriving by statistical means a ranking of products to best match each user's own revealed utility for these attributes, to produce a sorted listing of products ranked by the revealed underlying user utility, and use of the apparatus to display the degree to which an item matches the user's underlying utility.
