Detecting unauthorised users within a projection area and based on this non-privy party signalling and content privacy signalling associated with one or more respective partial portions of a particular projection content, providing control signalling to control one or more parameters associated with projection of the content by a hand-portable projector in the vicinity of the projection area to reduce the visibility of at least one of the partial portions of the content to the one or more non-privy parties during projection of said content. The parameters may be content parameters such as colour, contrast or size or they may be projection parameters such as focus magnification or projection angle whereby altering these parameters obscures the private information. Sensors such as a one or more public or crowd source cameras maybe used to detect the presence, location and gaze of non-privy parties within the projection area. |
