<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety system that can prevent accidents by detecting a failure of a special signal light emittor. <P>SOLUTION: A failure detecting part 1 detects a failure of a lamp unit 101 of the special signal light emittor 10. A stop signal output part 11 outputs a stop signal S2 for stopping a train 30 when the failure is detected. In the safety system, when the failure detecting part 1 detects the failure of the lamp unit 101 of the special signal light emittor 10, the stop signal S2 for stopping the train 30 is outputted by the stop signal output part 11.
