PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave device which improves an attenuation property.SOLUTION: A surface acoustic wave device (1A) is configured to mount a surface acoustic wave element (2) on a base (4). The surface acoustic wave element includes: a pair of input-side first interdigital electrodes (12a) which are provided on a surface of a piezoelectric body (10); a pair of output-side second interdigital electrodes (13a) which are provided on the surface of the piezoelectric body; and a shield electrode (14) which is formed between the first interdigital electrodes and the second interdigital electrodes. One of the first interdigital electrodes is electrically connected to a first ground terminal (28a) that is provided on the base, and one of the second interdigital electrode is electrically connected to a second ground terminal (28b) that is provided on the base. The shield electrode is electrically connected to a third ground terminal (28c) that is provided on the base and different from the first ground terminal and the second ground terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
