The present invention relates to a positive electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery, and to a manufacturing method thereof. The positive electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery according to the present invention comprises a porous structure having conductivity; and a positive electrode active material carried in at least one part of the surface and inside of the porous structure. The subject of the present invention is to provide a lithium-sulfur battery controlling corruption of the structure of the positive electrode even sulfur which is an active material of the lithium-sulfur battery is converted into polysulfide, and accordingly increasing durability of the positive electrode.
