Disclosed is a device for identifying multiple communications optical fiber cables (1) installed on an optical line, the device comprising: an identification cable (10) integrally fixed in a longitudinal direction corresponding to the communications optical fiber cables, and made of any one among a plastic optical cable (11) or an optical fiber cable (12) to allow light (L) from a dimmer (20) absorbed into a sheath (13) to be given off for identification; and the dimmer (20) emitting the light (L) to an end of the identification cable (10) so that the light (L) is emitted to the other end. If the identification cable (10) is made of the optical fiber cable (12), the identification cable (10) includes fixing boards (14) at both ends thereof to fix the sheath (13) storing the optical fiber cable (12), and light emitting connections (15a, 15b) on the fixing boards to hold the dimmer (20) so that the absorbed light (L) is given off for identification. Thus, the multiple communications optical fiber cables connecting optical fiber distribution frames in an optical communications system can be configured to be easily identified so the convenience is improved.
