PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source system operable to selectively execute a parallel connection mode arranged so that an electric power is supplied to a load circuit with two DC power sources connected in parallel with each other, and a series connection mode arranged so that an electric power is supplied to the load circuit with the two DC power sources connected in series with each other, which is operable to cut off a closed circuit which does not include the load circuit on condition that owing to the failure of a switching device, the two DC power sources are connected in series with each other and the closed circuit is formed.SOLUTION: A power source system according to the present invention comprises: a semiconductor switch operable to cut off a closed circuit described above. On detection of the formation of the closed circuit, the power source system uses the switch to cut off the closed circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
