A resistor comprising a rod-like resistance main body which has a pair of terminal plates attached to both ends thereof so as to face each other and which is placed inside a box-shaped case having an opening part on one surface thereof and kept embedded therein so that the terminal plates partially protrude from the opening part, said resistor being characterized in that each terminal plate has a pair of terminal seating parts that abut the opening edge part of the case and a pair of terminal support parts that abut the inner walls of the case on the sides. |
