<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat transport capacity and heat transport efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic cooling/heating device includes: a heat transporter 50-1 in which magnetic bodies 10A-10F having the same magnetocaloric effect and heat-conducting parts 30A-30G for transporting heat of the magnetic bodies 10A-10F are alternately arranged; a low-temperature side heat exchanger portion 40A disposed at one end of the heat transporter 50-1 via the heat-conducting part 30A; a high-temperature side heat exchanger portion 40B disposed at the another end of the heat transporter 50-1 via the heat-conducting part 30G; and a permanent magnet for selectively applying/removing magnetism to/from each of the magnetic bodies 10A-10F and the heat-conducting parts 30A-30G of the heat transporter 50-1. Each of the heat-conducting parts 30A-30G allows thermal conduction with each of the magnetic bodies 10A-10F when the permanent magnet applies magnetism thereto and when the permanent magnet removes the magnetism, thermal conduction with each of the magnetic bodies 10A-10F is cutoff. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
