<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet electrophotographic printing paper, which shows good transfer property for a liquid toner from a transfer drum to the paper and good fixing property for a liquid toner to the paper in printing by an electrophotographic system using a liquid toner, which can be also suitably used for an offset printing system or a letterpress printing system as general commercial printing, and which has high glossiness and excellent process adaptability for album bookbinding. <P>SOLUTION: The wet electrophotographic printing paper includes at least one coating layer essentially comprising a pigment and an adhesive on both surfaces of a base sheet. An uppermost layer in the coating layer contains, on both surfaces, kaolin clay, calcium carbonate and an organic pigment as the pigment. The paper shows Cobb water absorptiveness (JIS P8140:1998 for 30 seconds contact time) of 30 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or less and 75-degree specular gloss (JIS P8142:2005) of 60% or more on the surface of the uppermost layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
