The present invention relates to a gas meter for family use having an energy displaying function and a gas measuring method and, more specifically, to a gas meter for family use having an energy displaying function, which measures a mass flow using a database of specific heat at constant pressure of used gas and converts the used gas into energy by using the measured mass flow and enthalpy data, and a gas measuring method. The gas measuring method of the gas meter comprises: a first process that the kind, temperature (T), pressure (P), etc. of gas to be measured are measured and inputted; a second process that a specific heat at constant pressure (Cp) corresponding to the inputted kind, temperature (T), pressure (P) of the gas among the database of the specific heat at constant pressure is selected and inputted; a third process that a temperature difference (ΔT) calculated by measuring the inflow temperature (T1) and outflow temperature (T2) of the gas in a hot-film measurement sensor, and the quantity of heat (W) applied to a hot-film of the hot-film measurement sensor are inputted; and a fourth process that a mass flow is measured by substituting the inputted specific heat at constant pressure, the temperature difference, and the quantity of heat to a formula for calculating a flow meter. |
