Provided is a model changing assistance device for providing assistance when changing the model of a terminal equipped with a detachable card. This model changing assistance device is equipped with: a storage medium containing information indicating card types which can be detachably attached to terminals and information on terminals to which the cards can be detachably attached; a provision means for providing, on the basis of the information stored in the storage medium, information indicating terminals to which the card detachably attached to the current terminal used by a user can be detachably attached; a specification means for specifying the type of card which is detachably attached to the currently used terminal and the types of cards which can be detachably attached to a terminal to be used after model change; a notification means for providing a notification, on the basis of the specification result of the specification means, as to whether or not the model can be changed at a secondhand shop; and a presentation means for presenting contract plans with communication carriers associated with the terminal to be used after the model change. |
