摘要 The present invention relates to recycled steel fibers for reinforcing construction materials using recycled steel wires of waste tires and a manufacturing method thereof, the method comprising: a waste steel wire crushing step (S1) of inputting the quantitative amount of an iron core, a by-product from a recycling process of waste tires, into a crusher for steel wires to be crushed; a first magnetic force sorting step (S2) of inputting the waste steel wires, crushed in the waste steel wire crushing step (S1), into a first magnetic force sorting device to remove rubber and foreign substances; a waste steel wire dispersing step (S3) of inputting the primarily sorted waste steel wires, obtained from the first magnetic force sorting step (S2), into a disperser to be untangled; a second magnetic force sorting step (S4) of inputting the dispersed waste steel wires into a second magnetic force sorting device to remove rubber and foreign substances; and a steel wire sorting step (S6) of inputting the secondarily sorted waste steel wires, obtained from the second magnetic sorting step (S4), into a sorting device to sort the required size of steel wires to obtain recycled steel fibers. Recycled steel fibers for reinforcing construction materials using the recycled steel wires of waste tires obtained by the present invention have various diameters, lengths and shapes so that the adhesion performance to construction materials such as cement mortar, concrete, etc. and the performance in terms of compression, tension, bending, and toughness are enhanced compared to that of existing steel fibers. Recycling of waste tires can be maximized by recycling waste steel wires generated from existing waste tires, thereby contributing to energy saving and environmental protection.
