An electric power supply device comprises: a first battery and a second battery for supplying electricity to a plurality of load devices mounted on a vehicle; a generator capable of charging the first battery and the second battery by regenerative generation; and a control unit which controls the generator to suppress the amount of electricity charged in at least one of the first battery and the second battery by regenerative generation, in case a high load device among the plurality of load devices and at least one of backup target devices exist, and also the generator performs regenerative generation during deceleration of the vehicle.
