<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedestrian protection structure for a vehicle capable of achieving both improvement in an energy absorption amount when an object is hit and secured vehicle body rigidity while securing visibility of a driver. <P>SOLUTION: This pedestrian protection structure for a vehicle includes: a crushable front pillar 4 supporting a side part of a front window member 1; a main front pillar 5 positioned rearward of the crushable front pillar 4; and a roof panel 2 forming a vehicle roof and supported by an upper end of the main front pillar 5. A side window member 6 is provided between the crushable front pillar 4 and the main front pillar 5.
