<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for manufacturing a bag-in-box by which high speed filling is possible, a liquid content does not adhere to an external box, paper powder or foreign substance of the external box is not mixed into the liquid content, and bag breakage resulting from the generation of wrinkles on a flexible bag does not occur. <P>SOLUTION: The bag-in-box manufacturing apparatus includes a retainer, means for setting the empty flexible bag in the retainer, a filling machine, means for carrying the retainer into the filling machine, means for carrying out the flexible bag, means for making a corrugated cardboard into a box, means for transferring the flexible bag to the corrugated cardboard formed into the box and housing it therein, means for sealing the corrugated cardboard, and means for retrieving the emptied retainer. The retainer has a tray shape in which one surface from among four side surfaces is opened. The bag-in-box manufacturing apparatus also includes a flexible bag holding means, wherein the length between a pair of confronted side surfaces is larger than or equal to the length in the width direction of the empty flexible bag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
