Disclosed is a centering apparatus for inspecting the interior of a pipe to inspect a welded part or a damaged part of the pipe using a radioactive isotope. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the centering apparatus for inspecting the interior of the pipe comprises: a body part inserted into the pipe; a plurality of disc parts positioned on both ends of the body part; and a plurality of support leg parts coupled to the disc parts and supporting the interior wall of the pipe. The body part has a hollow-part to allow sections of both sides thereof to be opened and allows a radiation exposing member to be inserted thereinto, the radiation exposing member having one end receiving a radioactive isotope to expose radiation. The disc part includes a fixed disc fixedly coupled to an end of the body part and a rotating disc in close contact with the fixed disc to be rotated about the central axis of the body part. The support leg parts are coupled to one section of the disc part to reciprocally perform a linear movement in a direction from the center of the disc part to the outside, thereby supporting the interior wall of the pipe to allow the body part to be positioned on the center of the interior of the pipe.
