The present invention relates to a method for filtering a measurement signal Mi emitted by a capacitive coupling between a measurement electrode and at least one object of interest, comprising the steps: (i) generation of a filtered signal Mo from the measurement signal Mi, by application of an adaptive filtering function implementing a force parameter Af dependent on the measurement signal Mi at a preceding time and an electrical noise, (ii) generation of a derived signal Der representative of variations of said filtered signal Mo, (iii) generation of a compensated signal Moc, by a linear combination of said filtered signal Mo and said derived signal Der.
