<p>A pneumatic conveyor system plate valve 10 features a front plate 18 with a number of radial slots 24, 26, 28, and a back plate with series of holes 20, aligned with the slots 24, 26, 28. The front and back plates 18, 16, may be rotated relative to each other, and may be locked in place, such as with locking nut 20, in a number of different configurations, from one hole open 20 (fig.2), to multiple holes open 20 (fig.4). One or more such valves 10 may be employed in a variety of pneumatic conveyor systems (figs.5-7), and may provide a variety of different through flow settings. The valve 10 structure may offer the advantage of simple and easy adjustment with ordinary hand tools, not possible with previous valve designs.</p> |
