PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the dispersibility of a metal catalyst on a carrier.SOLUTION: A carbon nanotube (CNT) substrate 10 in which CNTs 11 are oriented as carriers is configured within a treatment chamber 101, and carbon dioxide is filled into the treatment chamber 101 (step S100). The carbon dioxide within the treatment chamber 101 is induced to be in a supercritical state (step S102). A platinum complex solution is fed into the treatment chamber 101, and the platinum complex is supercritically dispersed within the carbon dioxide (step S110). The CNT substrate 10 is heated so as to create a temperature difference between the sample temperature Tand the atmospheric temperature T, and the platinum complex is adsorbed onto the CNTs 11 (step S112). The carbon dioxide is discharged from the treatment chamber 101, and the platinum complex within the treatment chamber 101 is depleted (steps S131 and S132). The CNT substrate 10 is heated so as to induce the deposition of platinum particles on the surfaces of the CNTs 11 (step S140). |
