PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of displaying a horizontal direction easily to recognize for a user even when performing imaging in any one of all directions, a horizontal display method and a program.SOLUTION: Acceleration information of an imaging apparatus 1 is detected by an acceleration sensor 8, and a control section 6 calculates a rotation angle in the case where an optical axis in a predetermined imaging direction is defined as a reference axis, on the basis of the acceleration information and performs display control of a horizontal state on the basis of the calculated rotation angle. When the rotation angle becomes a predetermined angle relative to the reference axis, an optical axis in another imaging direction rotated from the reference axis at 90° or -90° is defined as a new reference axis. In the case where the new reference axis is set, a rotation angle is calculated on the basis of the acceleration information and the new reference axis, and the display control of the horizontal state is performed on the basis of the calculated rotation angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
