PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an estimation method of a subcritical state and a subcritical state estimation system capable of grasping a subcritical degree of fuel debris without introducing large-scaled facilities.SOLUTION: A subcritical state estimation system 1 includes: an image acquisition part 3 for acquiring an image of fuel debris and generating three-dimensional shape data based on image data; a neutron detector 4 for measuring neutrons emitted from fuel debris 11; and a subcritical state estimation device 2 for simulating a state of the fuel debris 11 based on the image data and the three-dimensional shape data, extracting a neutron multiplication factor of the fuel debris 11 based on simulation results and measured neutron fluxes, and estimating a subcritical degree of the fuel debris 11. The subcritical state estimation device 2 is constituted of an input condition preparation part 22, a subcritical state estimation part 24, and a simulation part 23, and includes a structure DB 25 for storing a composition of the structure inside a nuclear reactor building and a composition of nuclear fuel materials.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
